The British Invade on Dexter! Say what?

For anyone who does not know who or what Dexter is, let's recap:

Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter expert for the Miami Police Department. Or at least that is his day job. He also is a serial killer. You heard me right. Dexter is a serial killer. Don't worry, he has a code of honor he lives by. He can only kill serial killers. His dad taught him that.



To support this serial killer star we have supporting characters that include, a sister, a girlfriend with kids, a captain, and other cops on the force. One of the cops, Sgt Doakes hates Dexter! He hates him so much he is enforcing his own twisted brand of justice to figure out Dexter's secret. Sgt Doakes might pay for his dislike of Dexter by going down for being the Bay Harbor Butcher (which, as we know, is really Dex).

Dexter's season finale scheduled for this Sunday, December 16, 2007, is called The British Invasion. Are the British invading? Or is crazy psycho Lila just off the wagon?

When last we left Doakes was rescued by Morgan. Remember the drug dealers were about to kill him. Then Dexter rescued him, so he could lock him back in the cage at the cabin. Well Lila was on her way to that cabin. The previews show what looks like the cabin on fire. Wonder if Lila knows anything about that fire? Not that, little innocent Lila would set the cabin on fire or anything. You know she just suffered the loss of her loft. To fire that is. Hmmm.



Did I mention that the Miami Police Department is on their way to the cabin to arrest Doakes, "the Bay Harbor Butcher." Thereby, complicating Dexter's life. Since Doakes is actually locked in a cage. Dexter needs to beat the police to the cabin.


Doakes and Lila. What will happen? Dexter and the Police. Who will arrive first? I guess you'll be tuning in. I know I will be.
