Season Finale: Nip/Tuck

Tonight is the season finale of Nip/Tuck and it should be a good one. I have been screaming in frustration all season long that someone would:

-Catch Evil Eden doing something wrong and give her the punishment she so richly deserves.
-Realize Crazy Claudia is not what she seems and really, didn't that agent from Creative Artists have any family? Is no one looking for him?
-Finally put Matt the Moron on lockdown somewhere. He SO is in need of an intervention and an extremely long bout of celibacy.
-Tighten up the security at McNamara/Troy, I don't really know any medical office where you can just walk right in to the operating room during surgery (as frequently happens at McNamara/Troy).

Will ANY of this be addressed tonight? Who knows? It certainly will be interesting to watch though.

Christian Troy and Grace Hanadarko, match made in heaven.

Let me start by saying that in my real life I don’t get into playing matchmaker. I’m not the one who’ll be saying, “have I got a girl/boy for you” get yourself over to Match.com or something because I can’t help you. BUT... if there was ever a match made in heaven (or hell) it’s got to be Dr. Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck and Detective Grace Hanadarko from Saving Grace.

Christian is a smooth plastic surgeon whose practice is featured in a TV reality show, while Grace is as a down and dirty, gritty, police detective but these two actually have a lot in common.

Troy and Hanadarko are the very embodiments of the words: “slut” and “ho”, Grace is regularly doing a married man, Troy has bumped uglies with Dawn Budge, played by Rosie O’Donnell, between them, these two have an astonishing number of notches on their belts. Grace and Christian have both been molested by Catholic priests which will be a strong bond between them; both of them have children of a surrogate nature; Grace is godmother to her nephew whose mom died in a terrorist bombing, Christian has a son who is not biologically his. They are both tragic and flawed and occasionally you can see the lost little children underneath all that incredibly bad behavior.

On second thought, maybe I should try my hand at matchmaking, maybe a nice dinner party?

Nip/Tuck: Whining Only Goes So Far

I have always been unclear about the age of Matt on Nip/Tuck. He's always looked older to me but I suppose the situations this kid ends up in could age you. I do know he's supposed to be 20 years old now but I have been watching his angry, weasely, whining antics for a couple of years now. To say he has no ethics or dignity would be a gross understatement. I almost cringe when he comes on screen.

So, when Christian grabbed Matt this past week and told him to "grow up", I felt much like I did when Tony finally gave AJ the clouting he so richly deserved on The Sopranos: it's about @#*% time! Whining only goes so far, thank goodness!
