If you have any Home Improvement knowledge you know that Bob Vila started the home improvement boom. He was so popular and the craze took off. In the 1990's ABC spun a sitcom. Do you remember Home Improvement?

Home Improvement was built around a man who starred in a TV Improvement show called "Tool Time." Tim Allen played Tim "the tool man" Taylor. His sidekick Al, bore a strong resemblance to Bob Vila.





Today, there are channels dedicated to home improvement all the time, like DIY and HGTV. Many channels have at least one home improvement show.
