I've been wondering how Dexter would work on Network TV. Now I know. CBS the sister network of Showtime will be airing the entire first season of Dexter. Aha! Yes, it will be edited for CBS.
If you love Dexter and were worried your favorite deranged Serial Killer would have to clean up his act for the third season -- Don't fret! Dexter will continue airing in all his glory on Showtime. Thank goodness!
However, if you don't get showtime and want to watch a new thriller, tune in to see Dexter on CBS. While it will be cleaned up for CBS, it's still worth watching. Remember folks we cleaned up Sex and the City and Soprano's for non cable channels, and they were still worth tuning in to watch.
Don't know who Dexter is?Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter expert for the Miami Police Department. Or at least that is his day job. He also is a serial killer. You heard me right. Dexter is a serial killer. Don't worry, he has a code of honor he lives by. He can only kill serial killers. His dad taught him that.
Showtime says that "DEXTER is one of the most critically decorated shows on television." Formortv rates it as a must see show for the adult audience. Now everyone has chance to watch it for the first time or to revisit the first season. Dexter

I first saw Dexter last year on a business trip (Showtime). I was mesmerized by the show. What a twist and plot. I'm jazzed to see it this year!

saw dexter on comcast on demand. i would love to see season two; let alone season three. i hate giving money to the local video store for a disc with just two or three shows on them. keep hoping comcast on demand is going to give us the second season soon.

If you have showtime and on demand you will might get another chance. Before a new season aires they generally run the old seasons.
So check with showtime and on demand every so often to see if its back! We periodically check by scanning on demand to see what is being offered.
Plus, if Dexter takes off on CBS they'll run the second season again.
I'm pretty sure you'll have a chance to watch it!
