Since 1972, America has watched Dick Clark count down old year and Ring in the New Year at Time Square in New York. Dick Clark does it right. It is an all star line up. Celebrities and performers come out on New Years to celebrate with Dick. The party is held in three to four different cities around the United States, while he is located right in Time Square. It's a time honored tradition to ring in the New Years Eve with Dick Clark.
Over the recent years the Dick Clark has allowed our beloved youngster Ryan Seacrest to help out in running the show. Ryan might just be the next Dick Clark (with a bit of Merv Griffin mixed in).Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve 2008 will include Fergie, Plain White T's, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Sean Kingston. The 36th Annual Edition of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" will be broadcast on December 31 on ABC.
