Playskool Toys -No Lead Paint

It's probably no secret that I get particular enjoyment from commercials. Today I saw a commercial that wasn't terribly entertaining, but had a powerful and important message.

As Christmas rapidly approaches, and in light of all of the recent recalls involving toy manufacturers, shopping for a child is a daunting task. The commercial I viewed featured a very serious looking woman who informed us that Playskool toys have not been recalled for lead paint issues. That's good to know; if you have children that fall into the age range of Playskool toys, that's one less thing to worry about.

Yes! I just saw this too and I think it's the best commercial!

A HUGE stab at their competitors, and I love that it's so underhanded.

It's basically a "So, while you're out shopping trying to avoid lead-paint infested toys, just a little FYI that none of the toy recalls have come from Playskool (aren't we awesome!). Anyhoo, Merry Christmas!"

Well Ben, it is a children's so I guess the "neener, neener, neener" aspect is apropos!
