Just Kill Her Already!

Do you ever watch a character that you just want the writers to kill? It could be a serial or a soap. It's just one of those characters that annoys you so much, you are yelling at the screen, "Just Kill Them." In this case, I'm yelling, "Just Kill Her!"

Who do I want offed? Her characters name is Charlotte Ryan. The actress is Rebecca Pidgeon and she stars on The Unit, Tuesday nights on CBS. The show is great. It has many twists and interesting story lines.





Don't know The Unit? Quick recap: It's an action drama series that centers on the life of a secret military unit. It's been said they are based after a real life unit we know as The Delta Force. We have several family units that we follow on base and during missions. We see the men in action and the women holding down the forts. There are so many different directions we have gone and still have to explore that the show constantly keeps you on your feet.

In this particular instance, one woman Charlotte marries The Unit's Colonel. After an unsuccessful affair with one of his men's wives he decides to marry. This woman, Charlotte just seems to show up one day. During this marriage she worms her way into the lives of the wives. They try to embrace her. After being shot, she becomes addicted to pain killers. After causing a serious accident she convinces another wife to take the rap for the accident, so she doesn't have to face a DUI. The other woman feeling guilty about that affair? Agrees! Worse mistake she could have made. It then comes to pass that this Charlotte (possibly) sets up the entire unit with potential exposure and discharge. The unit survives. Charlotte's marriage does not. Thank goodness. You would think this woman would just fade away now! NOPE. Not her. She has now got herself in the mix in a variety of different matters, including one of the missions. A BIG PAIN IN THE UNITS SIDE!

I say, "Just Kill Her Already!" I won't miss her.

I guess this type of agitation makes for good TV. Oh well. I'll mutter through my agitations and deal with her for now. But, maybe, soon ... one day when the writers return... they might consider killing her? One could hope.
