Theme Songs - Which ones do you remember?

In the 1970's and 1980's I loved theme songs. I even had albums (yes that's right vinyl albums) that were a compilation of those beloved songs. There are theme songs that you just LOVED to sing in the car, those that you just COULDN'T get out of your head and others that you whistled while you worked.

Have you ever caught yourself going "exciting and new come aboard we're expecting you... " or "they knew that it was much more than a hunch. That this group would somehow form a family?" They were always catchy tunes. Tunes that we just got stuck in our heads.

My favorite theme song in the 80's was called "My Life." It wasn't like the rest of the theme songs. This one was different. I didn't fully comprehend. Later I learned it was different because it was a song by a great artist named Billy Joel. I became very devoted to Billy Joel later in the 80's.
